One of the details we use particularly in our TOUCH and SIGNATURE collections is shape-retaining stitching. Around the leg openings of the panties, the stitching runs over the elastic, helping the elastic and fabric work together as a single structure.
Its purpose is not simply to create a clean finish. The leg opening is one of the areas of underwear that moves most throughout the day. Keeping the elastic and fabric working together in a stable, balanced way helps support the intended shape of the leg opening during wear.
